Health and Safety
Our Commitment to Health & Safety
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
The health, safety, and wellbeing of our people, our clients, and every person who interacts with our business is a core organisational value — not a compliance exercise.
We operate across New Zealand and Australia, and our health and safety practices are developed and maintained in full accordance with the legislative frameworks governing both jurisdictions:
- New Zealand: Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) and associated regulations, overseen by WorkSafe New Zealand
- Australia (Queensland): Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and associated regulations, overseen by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ)
Our Commitment
We take a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risk across all our work environments — including our warehouse and distribution operations, office environments, and client-facing activities. Our safety standards apply equally to our permanent team, contractors, and visitors.
Key elements of our health and safety programme include:
Risk Management — Hazards are systematically identified and controlled, with a formal risk register maintained and reviewed regularly.
Incident Reporting & Response — All incidents, near misses, and notifiable events are recorded and managed in accordance with regulatory requirements. Where required, we notify WorkSafe NZ (New Zealand) or WHSQ (Australia) without delay.
Worker Wellbeing — We actively manage both physical and psychosocial risks, recognising that a safe workplace encompasses mental health and wellbeing alongside physical safety.
Competency & Training — Our team members are trained, qualified, and authorised to carry out their roles safely. All high-risk work activities — including the operation of powered industrial equipment — are carried out by appropriately licensed personnel only.
Emergency Preparedness — Documented emergency procedures, trained first aid officers, and regular evacuation drills are maintained at each of our sites.
Working With Us
Clients and contractors who engage with our team can do so with confidence that our operations are conducted to a high standard of safety. We expect the same commitment from contractors and service providers working alongside us, and we share health and safety information openly to ensure all parties are protected.
Our health and safety policy is reviewed annually and updated to reflect any changes in legislation, our operations, or our work environments.
